LONG STORY SHORT:
Scooter Scudieri has been writing, recording, and performing original music for 30 years. His career highlights include opening for Joan Jett in 1989, arguing for artist rights on Capitol Hill during MGM vs Grokster, and opening for Jewel on her “This Way” tour in 2002-2003. He's opened for Jason Mraz, Dave Matthews, Nils Lofgren, Blind Melon...
The Songwriters Hall of Fame awarded him “Best of the New Writers” in 2002 and he won the “Vox Populi” honor from The IMA in 2008. He's appeared on VH1 and Mountain Stage and performed at The Greek Theater, Constitution Hall, The Orpheum, Jones Beach Amphitheater, and Abravenal Hall.
His pioneering lecture series “Capture Your Spirit, Keep Your Soul” helped pave the way for DIY artists interested in online marketing prior to the invention of iTunes garnering features in Billboard Magazine, The Boston Herald, and Music Connection.
