"Always impeccable; entrancing and highly seductive" – The Times Riot Ensemble is an international group passionate about bringing contemporary music to life—whether that’s championing today’s composers or uncovering the sounds of tomorrow. Based in the UK, we’re a collective of top European soloists who love to perform, collaborate, and push boundaries through new ideas and projects. From concerts across the UK to festivals around the world, residencies, and working closely with students at conservatoires and universities, we’re always exploring new ways to connect people with new music. We also run an annual Call for Scores to discover and support emerging voices. Our work has been shortlisted for multiple RPS Awards, and in 2020 we were honoured to receive the inaugural Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation Ensemble Prize.
