DA’UD (Jacob Dawood) was formerly the drummer of Brisbane’s alt-rock band Slow Riots (late 00’s). After a decade away from music, DA’UD started his music production journey in 2022. DA’UD’s sound mainly takes influences from ambient, electronica, downtempo, synthpop and synthwave music while keeping true to his classical and heavy rock roots. His goal is to blend electronic with acoustic elements, taking listeners on a journey with progressive, story-telling instrumental music.
