Reenie is an Indie-pop singer, songwriter and performer. She has her own style of combining simple yet meaningful lyrics with catchy melodies on groovy tracks. Reenie is an artist who naturally and seamlessly fuses musical influences of both the East and West in her songs and has finally recorded her first set of English songs. Reenie's launched her debut album 'Rahey Tu Rahey' in 2004 followed by her second self-titled album 'Reenie', recorded in New York that released at the end of 2007. This album also marked the beginning of Reenie's song-writing career as she started writing and composing her own songs from then on. Reenie has written, composed and produced the SLPL (Sri Lanka Premier League) official Cricket Tournament Anthem. Reenie's continuous quest of pushing boundaries and constantly growing is what drives her. She wishes to spread light and promote well-being for all through her music!
