Interdisciplinary Designer in daylight and Independent Musician after sunset, Ishaan Dass is a singer/songwriter, producer, classically trained vocalist and self-taught guitarist.
Ishaan is a recipient of the National Scholarship for Classical Music from The Centre for Cultural Resources and Training. He has performed across India and Austria with the Vienna Boys Choir – and been one of the select few from the choir to participate in private vocal training sessions with Pt. Ravi Shankar.
Just like his design skill set, Ishaan strives for diversity with his music. From guitar focused pop and shades of acoustic indie to electronic sounds and a touch of hip-hop, he refrains from being put in any box and refuses to wear any tag or label.
He intends to flow like a river into several tributaries – hence the name Indus.
