Almost all of the music on our videos is created by free improvisation, whereby we may start with a very general premise (e.g.: play softly & lyrically or build to fast, atonal playing), but then let the music develop entirely on its own, following our own instincts and abilities to listen and react to each other's ideas. It's been especially rewarding to have Greg Mills and other St. Louis musicians as playing partners over the years, and for about the past year, percussionist Glen "Papa" Wright has been a regular participant, adding so many interesting sounds and rhythms!
