Rooted in the spirit of 1970s progressive music yet free from nostalgia, it reshapes that legacy through contemporary sensibilities, complex harmonic motion, extended instrumental forms, and cinematic soundscapes. Not a band in the traditional sense, The Abraxas Collective is an open creative organism where composition, improvisation, tension and release coexist. The name Abraxas reflects the union of opposites, light and shadow, structure and freedom, at the core of each piece. This channel hosts long-form journeys, sonic visions, and inner voyages. Music meant to be entered slowly, experienced fully, and allowed to unfold in time.
