John Freeman is a a musician living in Bastrop County, Texas. He plays bass primarily; mostly electric but some upright and fretless. His favored styles include Western Swing, Americana, Classic and HonkyTonk Country; Traditional and Folk; as well as Classic and Oldies rock. Maybe a little Jazz and Standards. He is also a versatile harmony singer. John currently plays with Emily Herring; as well as shows with Big John Mills.
