Hello there. I’m John Renfro (aka Lil Red Johnnie). As a drummer and guitarist, I’ve spent the last 50 years playing music with some of the greatest bands and most talented musicians – some of them even well-known. Through the years, I’ve developed a talent for singing and songwriting which has led to the creation of a unique style of music inspired by every note or beat I’ve ever played. My songs don’t conform to any specific genre but integrate many. The lyrics reflect my own experiences in life and those shared with friends and loved ones. To date, I’ve written over 100 original songs – receiving positive feedback from both industry professionals and fans. Writing, playing and connecting with people through music is my greatest joy in life. Thanks for being here.
