A classy and sophisticated professional Indian vocalist (featured in the Blockbuster movie, Taken 3), Shama has been performing since childhood to audiences globally. She is one of very few artistes who can boast having had her own band at the age of 10, performing regularly on Voice of Kenya T.V. before moving to U.K. Having received her vocal training from Smt. Swati Natekar & Smt. Krishna Chakraborty, she went onto developing her own voice and style and became a brand name in her own right in 1994 as she set out with the popular Shama and Friends band, wowing audiences all over the world. She has performed alongside artistes from the Bollywood music industry like Anup Jalota, Sukhwinder Singh, Nitin Mukesh, Mangal Singh to name a few. In 2009, Shama relaunched herself, and debuted her single with a fresh new sound with her new band, The 5.1.5 Crew. Currently Shama is working on material for a UK wide tour with the 5.1.5 Crew and several performances lined up outside of the UK.
