Welcome to Ariane Zurcher - On the Other Hand I graduated from Parsons School of Design & began a career in fashion design. I designed & was the editor of the Hand Knit Page for Elle Magazine in the late 1980's. In 2008 I launched my jewelry design business, designing fine jewelry in 18 & 20 Kt Gold with gemstones hand selected for each piece. After several awards & lots of press, I rediscovered hand stitching & my life took another turn, leading me to improvisational stitching, mixed media and finding your voice, which I teach workshops on: arianezurcher.com/workshops/ Art, hand stitching, mixed media & motivating others is my love and remains so to this day.
