Performance Poet | Spoken Word Artist | Writer Short Film Producer | Domestic Abuse Survivor Workshop Facilitator Growing Nai was born out of Nai’s need to ‘grow’ her circumstances after being left a single mother with CPTSD after an incredibly abusive relationship. Nai instinctively took to poetry, journalling and artistic expression to outlet the memories and experiences overwhelming her system. Poetry brought Nai a connection to her inner best friend and wisdom instead of being dominated by the voice of abuse that lived on after the abuse had ended. Nai journeys through her poetry, breaking through chains of limiting self talk and finding deeper purpose and meaning in all she experiences
