The Instituto de Pesquisa e Conservação de Anteaters in Brazil was founded in 2006, with the objective of acting directly in the conservation and preservation of anteaters, armadillos and sloths and their respective habitats, developing studies, research, programs and projects in the areas of environment, education, health, ecotourism, public policies, society and culture, promoting sustainable development and the protection of the environment and its biodiversity as a whole.
It is a non-profit Non-Governmental Organization, whose mission is to develop research, education and promotion of public policies, aiming at the preservation of anteaters, armadillos and sloths in free life and in captivity. Its multidisciplinary team, along with experience in conservation projects and partnerships with institutions around the world, contribute to the commitment, integrity and quality of its work in favor of conservation.
