Juan Manú is a Latin-folk instrumentalist and singer-songwriter based in Washington D.C. Originally hailing from El Paso, Texas, his music is a vibrant celebration of his Borderland, Mexican, and Tejano roots and culture. His training includes over a decade of classical solo and orchestral violin performance and over an additional decade of mariachi vocal and violin performance, bringing a unique blend of influences to his artistry. As a proud gay man, he infuses his music with a distinct social perspective, striving to elevate queer experiences and stories within traditional genres and on the stages of folklore.
