Life is funny! There are times when out of left field an idea ignites a new endeavor. For more of the backstory, I must meander to 2014 when Chris, my husband, ran his first 100-mile ultra-event. It was during this period, Chris, and I, created a food plan meant to assist him for the endurance physically and mentally to necessary to undertake such a feat. Together, we began to develop focused clarity around a 3-pillar approach. As the food person in our family, it was my responsibility to develop the actual food plan. As the trail runner in the family, it was Chris's responsibility to communicate how foods provided energy and enjoyment. If you have never shared a home with another training for a big athletic endeavor, let us just say maintaining adequate nutrition and hydration is challenging! Happily, Chris's achievement was a success! BUT the experience did not end at the finish line. This shared experience is what has led us to The Coreview Way lifestyle!
