Susmita Das is a popular name in India, particularly in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Dehradun, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Jharkhand. She has more than 300 live performances including performances abroad. She has also been empanelled in the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in Sugam Sangeet category. She was a member of the Jury for National Film Awards 2015.
