I'm Nicole. Knicoleknits is for knitters and crocheters who like a pattern but want it to actually fit, drape, and behave once it's off the page. What I do best is modification, a series I call Hack Your Knits: yarn substitutions, gauge cheats, style tweaks, and the occasional full design flip (wrapovers, say hi). The tutorials are detailed but watchable, the reviews come with more swatches than strictly necessary, and the color theory is explained by someone who finds it a little annoying too. If a pattern is fighting you on fit, or you just want to understand what your knitting is doing and why, this is a reasonable place to be. Your knitting. Your rules. Mostly. There are also two dogs.
