Welcome to FoodOmics Group Laboratory at Hacettepe University, Food Engineering Department www.foodomicslab.hacettepe.edu.tr/en FoodOmics Laboratory has omics and/or multiple omics approache which provides an integrated perspective to power discovery across multiple levels of food science and microbiology. This analysis approach combines genomic data with data from other modalities such as transcriptomics, metabolomics, and proteomics, to measure gene expression, gene activation, and biomolecule levels. Using integrative omics technologies, FoodOmics Lab can better connect genotype to phenotype and fuel the discovery of novel species of microorganisms, biomarkers; also can do risk assessment for genecitally modified food and food ingredients.
