World’s Youngest 8th Gen Sarangi Maestro | 16th-Century Indian Lineage | Preserving Traditional Sounds Nabeel Khan, born on September 2, 1999 in New Delhi, India, is a renowned Sarangi player, composer, and singer-songwriter. Coming from the eighth generation of a distinguished musical lineage, he is recognized as one of the youngest established Sarangi performers in the world. He is the grandson of legendary Sarangi maestro Ustad Sabri Khan (Padma Bhushan awardee) and the son of Ustad Nasir Khan, belonging to the respected Moradabad Sainia Gharana, whose roots trace back to Mian Tansen in the Mughal era. Nabeel made history as the first Indian classical musician to perform before an audience of over 100,000 people in a single concert. He was featured on the iconic Times Square Billboard in New York City, marking him as one of the youngest global ambassadors of Indian classical music.
