Anime Alliance Philippines is a non-stock and non-profit organization that provides capacity-building services to Japanese culture groups in the Philippines, such as costume play hobby groups, bands, manga artists, animators, and toy creators. We do this by providing result-driven consultancy, technical and skills training services.
Founded in 2006 by a small group of young Japanese culture enthusiasts, the organization started out as a web-based community that provided live webcasts of Japanese popular culture events for free. Since then, Anime Alliance Philippines has branched off into other fields such as events organizing and management, human resource development, and partnership building with other organizations and individuals.
The alliances we've forged with like-minded organizations and individuals have contributed to the success of events such as the Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention (Philippine ToyCon), OzineFest (Psicom Publishing) and the Hero Nation Convention (formerly known as the Hataw Hanep Hero Convention, organized by Hero TV).
