Welcome to OrnaBakes 💜. You might know me as a Baker or Jazz Singer and I am now the proud Mommager of an incredible young singer, actress and baker, Aja Jasmine. 💕 I love sharing my passion for baking, food and music, and hope to inspire and bring you joy. My passion for baking healed my relationship with food and my body. (Plus unconditional love from my wonderful hubby and a great therapist 😉) Now that I am in my 50's, I am finally comfortable in my own skin. I am constantly evolving and growing, and I hope that my journey inspires you to be kinder to yourself. I live in Calabasas, California but many of my recipes are influenced by my Jewish, South African heritage. My signature recipes are Crunchies (South African Oatmeal Cookie Bars) and Bulkas (traditional Cinnamon buns).
