My life - culture and chaos in all its imperfect detail. Hello! I’m a single, 58 year old mother of six grown up children who have all left home, and in 2019 I left London to move to the countryside in Somerset, near Bruton. I created this channel because in later life, you have to grow or you start to shrink. I wanted to challenge myself to live a bigger life and to show that there is still so much for us Rare Birds to be excited and challenged by. In this lifestyle vlog, I share my love of books, food, interiors, art, beauty, fashion and fabulous female friendships, but nothing is perfect here because I share my neuroses too. More than anything, I want to make life more enjoyable, to celebrate the good things, (this sounds disturbingly like a dating app profile - there might be some of this in my vlogs too) and to take you with me.
