Hailing from Central California, Cari discovered her love for music early—singing and teaching herself guitar at a young age. She spent many years leading worship, which laid the foundation for her journey as a songwriter. Rooted in faith and shaped by experience, her music carries an honest, soulful quality—each song a reflection of her life and the hope she holds. Blending the storytelling of country, the warmth of bluegrass, and the grit of blues and rock, Cari’s style is both timeless and deeply personal.  A lover of the outdoors and a former Division 1 athlete, Cari thrives on staying active and connecting with nature. Though her heart remains tied to the West, she has made her home on the East Coast, settling in Virginia. Since arriving, Cari has quickly made a name for herself in the local music scene, performing alongside some of Richmond’s finest musicians. Most recently, she showcased her talent on season 23 of American Idol.
