Chris Kesner began playing guitar at twelve and has been singing since he was fifteen. Beginning on classical guitar, Chris swiftly moved to electric and acoustic, and found a real passion towards emotionally potent guitar playing combined with technical prowess. Kesner first played live at thirteen; by fourteen, he was in a band, and was signed to an independent label by sixteen. He is now a teacher of guitar, and still works with several Ottawa bands. Kesner's main focus is on performance and working with organizations to bring music, education, and fun to the community. His first solo record, Images of Broken Light, came out in 2010. A new album is expected in 2014.
