In 1990, the RUVO company was purchased by Merrick Machine Company, which moved the manufacturing operations to its plant in Alda, Ne. Merrick's engineering staff has made numerous improvements over the years to the RUVO equipment line- most importantly by changing the machinery from air logic to electronic, as well as developing the computerization of the stair router. RUVO continues to be a leader in the automated door systems industry to this day, and stands as the perfect compliment to Merrick's Triad lines of wall panel, sub-component, window, stair and millwork manufacturing equipment.
