Two Nathan Mahl shows ended up as part of this project, both from the Alumni auditorium at the University of Ottawa in 2006. The bulk of the footage that ended up used was from the afternoon rehearsal before the May 2006 show, thus allowing cameras to be placed directly in front of the stage. Angles captured were keyboards, guitars, bass, drums. The show that evening was filmed also, with angles captured for full stage, stage right, and which required additional re-syncing having not used a click track during performance. In hopes to add further vocal and guitar solos footage, a 2nd show in Oct 2006 was filmed, from the front row. Different clothing was worn and thus making a visible distinction in appearance. Again this required additional re-syncing to incorporate. There were complications during transfer, damaging the tracks with unwanted noise and glitches -essentially making them unusable. And so, the room audio as captured by camera remained.
