Our story began when a few Swedish entrepreneurs committed to supporting other founders. They first started Malmö Startups in 2015. In one year, they organized 33 events, everything from matching students with startups to helping later stage startups raising their next round of financing. The organization’s activities have changed over the years. Yet the mission stayed clear. Our mission is to build an open, inclusive and vibrant startup community in Southern Sweden. We organize Skåne’s largest startup community event Startup Live!, arrange over 200 investor meetings per year, and connect regional startups to investors from around the world.
