Recovery Speakers exists to preserve and share the audio history of the 12 Step fellowships. Our growing library spans more than eight decades and represents voices, stories, and experiences that might otherwise be lost to time. For more than five years, we've been transferring and digitizing original audio recordings—many sourced from aging reel-to-reel tapes and cassettes—to protect this important history for future generations. These recordings capture speakers sharing their experience, strength, and hope at conferences, conventions, workshops, and meetings across the country. The library includes some of the earliest known recordings of Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon pioneers, including talks not publicly available before this preservation effort. Whether you are new to recovery or have many years sober, we hope these talks offer connection, perspective, and encouragement for years to come.
