Established in 1966, Strand Moslem Council serves the Muslim community of Strand, Cape Town, continuing a presence that traces back to 1822. For generations, the Muslim community of Strand has remained rooted in faith, unity, and service. SMC oversees six masajid in Strand: - Jaamia Masjid, - Masjidul Ummah, - Nurul Anwar Masjid, - Javia Masjid (est. 1870), - Masjidul Badr and - Broadlands Park Musallah. Through this channel, we share Jumuah khutbahs, Taraweeh salaah, Ramadan programmes, Eid Salah, and special community events -- connecting our community across generations and beyond our walls.
