Kayt and the Hard Folks came together in early 2012 by the name Kayt Lucas Band. Developing an exhilarating performance experience, the band has honed a broad repertoire of new classics for those who love the sounds of the 1970s. Kayt Lucas is a poet and singer in Toronto. While "Hard Folk" describes the band's playlist, the tracks allude to rock, blues, folk, and sometimes country.
