Basicnoise is the musical project of Peter Fanai, a German artist exploring the intersection of dub techno and ambient soundscapes. With a background in classical piano from the age of five and early experiments with synthesizers in his teens, his music reflects a long-standing interest in texture, depth, atmosphere and a deep love for analog synthesis. Influenced by artists like The KLF, Brian Eno, Aphex Twin, Basic Channel and Deepchord his work combines structured rhythms with spacious, meditative layers. Basicnoise releases music on labels including Spclnch, Greyscale, Hexachord, and Klangschleife.
