Hayley Wallis is a soul/R&B singer-songwriter from the Kitasoo/Xai’Xais Nation, based in Vancouver, BC. Her powerful, textured voice and heartfelt storytelling have made her one of Canada’s rising Indigenous artists.
Since releasing her debut album Halulu in 2022, Hayley has earned multiple #1 singles on NCI’s Indigenous Music Countdown, features on SiriusXM’s Indigiverse and Spotify’s “Indigenous” playlist, and was a CBC Searchlight finalist and Stingray Top Indigenous Album of 2023. In 2024, she performed on CBC’s Road to the Junos and at major festivals including the Vancouver Folk Music Festival, Toronto Jazz Festival, and Come Toward the Fire.
