I am a home cook that makes good food simply using bits and pieces picked up from everywhere I have lived whether that's comfort food from Charleston South Carolina, Pasta & Seafood from Sicily & Japan or Midwest classics from Michigan, Pittsburgh & Hawaii. I want to be clear... all opinions I express, are mine and my only. My core beliefs are treat others like you want to be treated, and live & let live. I've lived all over the world and hate eating alone. I enjoy cooking & sharing my meals with you. A good back and forth is a good deal to me. I focus on budget cooking, convivence, and ingredients that are available in super markets world wide. This year I am making an effort to count calories. I try to stick to a daily 2000 calorie diet and will focus on that this year. I believe you can make good food simply without paying an arm and a leg for every single ingredient if you're willing to put a bit of love into it even if it can't always be butter.
