Sydney Simone is an Anchor/Reporter for WVLA NBC 33 & WGBM FOX 44 news in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In 2019, Sydney started her broadcast career at KTAL NBC 6/ FOX 33, one of Nexstar’s affiliate stations in Shreveport-Texarkana. In 2021, she took her talents further south to join the morning team at CW39 Houston. Before getting her start in television, Sydney created and hosted a radio broadcast show called the “College Playground” on a platform known as “Stationhead”. This show highlights collegiate athletes and their life experiences on and off the field. Now, it's becoming a podcast and digital show. As a former athlete, Sydney has a love for sports. However, the news business took her down a different lane and quickly swept her off her feet. This community-focused journalist emphasizes her commitment to building trustworthy relationships with local viewers through her storytelling skills. This Channel displays my reel, interviews, daily content, and College Playground videos.
