I'm Katherine Roy, a picture book author and illustrator with a dozen or so books under my belt, including my Sibert Honor debut, Neighborhood Sharks (Macmillan 2014), and most recently Making More: How Life Begins (Norton Young Readers, 2023) and Sea Without a Shore (Norton Young Readers, 2024). I'm fascinated by the natural world and the way things live, and love to share behind-the-scenes footage, field research, and tutorials on this channel.
