Established in 2023, the Astrophotography Prize is an international competition celebrating the world's finest astrophotography. Organised by a dedicated team of experienced astrophotographers, it aims to inspire, educate, and help photographers refine their skills. Unlike any other astrophotography competition, every entrant has the opportunity to receive both verbal and written feedback from internationally recognised experts in their field. The Astrophotography Prize is more than an annual competition. In 2026, our exhibition partner, the Chabot Space & Science Center, will showcase the top 25 images from each category for a full year. The competition promotes education, craftsmanship, and a shared passion for astrophotography, bringing together photographers from around the globe. Last year, entries were received from 35 countries across five continents.
