GILBOAR is the real thing! They’re not trying to be anyone else! - Refusing to be restrained by the structures and boundaries set by modern standards; they are the quintessential ‘anti-Pop’ band! Founded by Front-man, Louis Green, GILBOAR deliver an eclectic set of driving grooves (a-la Clyde Stubblefield) to laid back rhythms, taking influence from music from around the world. Unwilling to be constrained to typical ‘song’ formats and expectations, GILBOAR is able to take their music almost anywhere. The individual band members bring varying musical backgrounds together to create a sound that can't get pigeon-holed in to a genre! Primarily a live band, GILBOAR rely on the energy of the night – this is the reason the music stays fresh, and why GILBOAR will never be the same on any two nights!
