Hailing from a family of musicians, scholars and writers, Uroovaak Vora is a rapper, producer, composer, lyricist and screenwriter.
Although heavily trained in Indian Classical Music by his grandfather Pt. Vinayak Vora, Uroovaak chose a very different path for himself - Hip-Hop.
Professionally, he composes music for film, television and brands. Along with BrandMusiq, he has composed the sonic identity/musical logo for the mega-brand Zomato; along with Uttank Vora he composed the title track and background score of Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai: Take 2 and Khichdi’s third season.
Uroovaak is also a screenwriter. After he finished writing the story, screenplay and dialogues for Hera Pheri 3, he has written the dialogues for the upcoming film Welcome to London.
Hip-Hop has always been close to Uroovaak’s heart. He produces, writes, conceptualises and performs his own songs.
