Authentic ancient sources, quotations from scholars and lots of personal hot takes. To me, Classics is a dialogue between the ancients and ourselves. Our personal, subjective, views (yours as much as mine - comment away, everyone) are valid and valuable, but only where they respond as directly as possible to what the ancients had to say and show for themselves. I'm not a professional Classicist. I have a basic education (undergrad classics degree), but that was a long time ago. I’m a banking lawyer by trade, and have published a couple of books on modern banking reg.
