That photo is myself at 14 years old in 1974 playing my Epiphone in church. I've been playing for over 50 years and helping learning guitarists since I was 16. I also share a few thoughts on growing older, health, and giving back to others as our talents allow. The videos I make are designed as enhancements to help you get the most out of your guitar journey and get you past frustrations or where you might need just a little help to get back on track to your private lessons, online lessons, or just watching YouTube, or playing with others. I'm David Hogan a retired journalist pursuing my life-long love of guitars to teach my grandkids and help others find learning resources, to help their kids or themselves, to learn our beloved guitar craft, which I feel is a blessing from God.
