Having recorded well-received albums/EPs, toured extensively throughout the UK, Europe, and Canada and performed live sessions for Jazz FM and BBC Radio 2 among others, Reverend Cleo decided it was time to stop working in bands for a while and do something completely different, something unmistakably his own. Armed only with a few guitars, a selection of albums by John Scofield, Medeski, Martin and Wood and The Black Keys along with a burning desire to create an instrumental guitar album which could appeal to musicians and non-musicians alike, Reverend Cleo got to work on Manic Expression. Clive Deamer, well known for his distinctive and acclaimed contributions to artists including Portishead, Roni Size, Robert Plant and Radiohead, offered his considerable skill and musicality on the drum kit. www.reverendcleo.co.uk
