Michael Graham has spent 24 years building furniture and frames. In 2007 he and his wife Heather started Masterworks Frames with the express desire to make a living at what he felt passionate about - creating beautiful things with his hands. He quickly learned that artists had two framing choices, either pick an ugly cheap frame or spend so much on a beautiful frame that after selling the painting the artist is left with hardly a commission. Michael built Masterworks to provide 1) high quality gold leaf frames, 2) beautiful hand rubbed finishes 3) reasonable prices 4) a reasonable turn around time. It would seem artists felt the same as Michael because Masterworks has expanded 5 times in the last 10 years. Employing 12 people.
