Immersed in music from a young age, 23 year old Brighton born singer and songwriter Orla Rae takes inspiration from Stevie Wonder, Jazmine Sullivan, Cleo Sol, Victoria Monet and Brandy, blending R&B, soul, pop and jazz with powerful vocal runs, intricate harmonies and intimate storytelling. Having recently supported artists such as Sophie Faith, IYAMAH and singing for Grammy Award Winning Jazz duo Blue Lab Beats on their EU tour, Orla has recently been championed on BBC Radio 1Xtra, featuring on the 1xtra playlist and being named introducing’s ‘Track of the Week’ with her latest single, ‘Richest Girl’, plus more support from other stations including Kiss, Rinse and Reprezent.
