SCAMBAITING is an acquired taste. It's like improv, but you also have to be technical all while using social engineering skills to keep scammers on the phone. At the same time I'm trying to make jokes, I'm also letting threat actors (scammers) connect to my machine. During this time I am using enterprise software to detect, analyze and report on the threat actors. Then the treat hunting commences and we go after the scammer. Disclaimer: If you are an avid scambait watcher, you will be used to low level physical comedy or even abusing the threat actors. First, reason why you won't find low level comedy here is because I'm actually good at social engineering and have the equiptment to follow through. The reason why I will not abuse others is because we are all human beings that should be treated with respect. In the US we often think because we're right that gives us the moral high ground to abuse and put down others, that needs to stop. The change can start with you, be the change. ✌
