Boston-based tech house Producer, BUGLER, has been actively experimenting with electronic genres since 2007, before finding his niche in minimal techno and house. As a believer that music is both transformative and restorative, BUGLER has always valued music as a welcomed escape – not only through production, but as a seasoned musician of both the drums and the guitar. Teaching himself Ableton on a loaner computer from his college roommate, electronic music production seemed an organic evolution of playing the drums, and soon BUGLER was craving this creative control and fusion of sound. BUGLER seeks to transport his listeners to a different time and place by frequently weaving cinematic dialogue through his tracks – his signature alternative to systematic vocals. He sees each track as a breathing puzzle, slowly humming to life with the use of synthesizers and deliberate programming from various instruments.
