Mental Shift is a female fronted rock band from the Netherlands. Their sound has been inspired by many rock styles like Skunk Anansie, Kate Bush, Placebo, Queens of the Stone Age, Deep Purple, The Gathering and Blondie. While alternative in its core, the different musical backgrounds of the musicians result in a mix of influences from pop, rock, metal and indie.
Mental Shift shows are lively and filled with humor. The band celebrated their sixth anniversary in September 2022. The band has accomplished a lot in their first years and builds on this foundation to expand their activities. In October 2018 their debut album ‘Emergence’ was released from which 3 tracks where released as singles. In 2020 three new singles appeared: Winter, The Last Thing and Déjà vu. In 2021 'It's Time' followed. In 2022 two singles were released, "Endless' and 'My Great Reset'.
