The singer, songwriter and musical theatre actress was born in London and grew up in Hamburg. From the very beginning she lived for the power of expression. Directly after school Ann Sophie moved to New York with the firm decision to career as an artist. She experienced the challenges and also the possibilities of this magical metropolis, where the heart of the arts beats harder than in any other city. She completed an acting education at Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, composed her first songs and performed as a singer. Ann Sophie's songs do not consist of set pieces of different styles, but form a finely woven string of pearls of pop, electro and above all contemporary soul. A credo that Ann Sophie incorporates into each of her songs: "I want to live my truth. To tell what my heart says. I am aware that this is not always easy, but I know that music is my way. It touches, strengthens and brings my most sincere and honest feelings to light.“
