The Gaslight Cafe is a live culture and music talk show documentation hosted by Frank Pyne and Oliver Kuka.
The aim of the Gaslight Cafe project, named after the New York Gaslight Cafe where Bob Dylan and a host of other songwriters and poets presented new songs and poems to their peers, is to document rich and varied contributions to Heidelberg music life past and present.
The show has no genre limitations featuring Folk, Classical, Jazz and all in between. Well known guests appear beside unknown artists, audience participation is welcomed, spontaneous music jams ensue, barriers and labels are broken down. During the show guests present short intimate musical moments and speak with the hosts about their experiences in the Heidelberg music community.
