Vanessa Taylor is an indie rock/pop musician from Portsmouth, England. She takes inspiration from her favourite artists such as: James Marriott, Los Campesinos!, Tally Hall, and Beetlebug. Vanessa finds herself writing about the struggles of growing up as a young queer person, relationship issues, and troubles with romantic feelings. She began releasing music in June of 2023 with her first EP, “Is This Ok??”; a primarily indie rock release dealing with the aforementioned struggles. Since this, Vanessa has released a single (“Daydream”) and two EPs (“Ballad of an Apathetic Lover” and “Trainspotting”) Having now been writing original music for over 3 years, Vanessa has really begun to hone in her craft. She plans to release more music in 2025 than in previous years. Music that is definitely worth keeping an ear out for.
