Music theory is a big obstacle for a lot of musicians, with this channel, I want to debunk the myth that music theory is complicated and out of the range of average people. My name is Valentin, I’m a French guy passionated about science and music. After an MSc in Electroacoustics, I decided to dedicate my time to my first passion, music. I started the piano when I was 5 but quickly, I decided to quit my music school because of the way music theory was taught. I mainly learned everything that I know by myself, so I know how it feels to be lost in that learning process. So, I thought that I might be a good help, by doing videos that explain everything from the very basics, answering all the questions that I asked myself back then.
